Gentle Panda

British Columbia

The best part is
the moment you’re in.

An outdoor brand for the whole of it: the before, the during, and the after. Built around the people living it.

The first hundred are numbered.

Jake with a hand on Panda the dog, perched on the back of a parked sled in mountain mist.

    01  Snow · the after-moment

Everyone thinks sled culture is the throttle. Riders know it is all of it: the plan the night before, the deep-snow morning, and the fire after.

The sled is parked. The gear is steaming by the stove. Somebody got the fire going without being asked, and nobody is in a hurry to be anywhere else.

That is one of the moments we build for. The whole day counts, from the plan the night before to the last hour by the stove.

Two riders stopped in falling snow beside a parked sled, one turned toward the other.
A rider coming down a snowed forest road, a second rider following behind.
Snow · winter, and where the crew comes from.

    02  The Founding 100

    A number that stays yours.

The first hundred orders are numbered, one through one hundred. Whichever one you get is yours for good.

    1. 01

      Numbered

Your order carries its number. It is recorded once and it does not move.

    2. 02

      Early window

Every release that follows opens to founding members first, before the list and before anyone else.

    3. 03

      Kept for good

Founding status does not lapse and does not renew. It is a place in line and a name on the list, for as long as there are drops.

    03  From the library

    Everything here is ours.

Shot by the crew, in British Columbia. Drag to look through them.

Three people walking a backlit forest trail together in autumn, a dog alongside them.

Community is not a section of this brand.
It is the whole operating model.

Crew first. Names and faces, never an audience.

Last light on a snow trail, a single sled headlight burning warm in a corridor of dark spruce.

    04  Fire · the core

Water is the lake. Snow is the climb.

Wind is open and unforced. Fire is what the whole day was for: the hour after, when the work is done and nobody is going anywhere.

One chapter of the brief, and the warmest one.

    05  The list

Tell us what you would actually want.

Everything here shapes what gets made first. Two fields if you are in a hurry, the rest if you have a minute.

    What are you interested in

    Pick as many as apply.

    From the first run

Generated from the lineup, so it never drifts.

Only if you know it. It helps us plan the first run.

    Pre-production testing

A small early group, open until about the first five hundred, trying pieces first and shaping what gets made. The Founding 100 sit above it, first in every window.

One list, kept by the crew. Nothing else gets sent to you.

    06  How releases work

    Seasons, not dates.

Releases land with the season they were made for. Snow is where the crew comes from, so snow goes first. It is not the ceiling.

When a window opens, the list hears before anyone. Founding members hear before the list. That is the whole mechanic, and there is nothing else to it.

Snow again · the year comes back around.
